You've seen that people are REALLY amped up against illegal immigrants. The situation doesn't seem like it will get solved anytime soon. The irony is that the majority of the people that are against immigration fail to realize how similar they are to each other. For example, they are common in the fact that they are primarily in the same economic class - none of them (white, black, latino, etc.) are rich! Regardless it seems that many "native" americans are happy being anti-immigration. Click on the cartoon on the left first and take a good look at it.

i think that the cartoon is trying to state that every race and class that isnt a real native american. Are the immigrants.Many people are infact in common with each other.

answer to question #2 i think what would have happened is either the white imigrants would have fought them or the white people would have been under the natives control and i dont think tha the white peolple would have left the US they would have fought with them for their place.
answer to question #1 in the cartoon they are saying that everyone is an immigrant to the natives because they've been there way longer than anyone else so they are sayin that if they were to kick the immigrants out the only ones left would be the natives.
in my opinion, the cartoon is trying to say that without any immigrants there really isn't a population in the U.S..
if the Natives treated the original Europeans the way white people treat immigrants today i think the world would be soooo different..maybe we wouldn't have went through slavery and alot of things would have been different..this video was very interesting, and i like the way they came up with "cracker"

I like the cartoon because it points out that the only Native Americans are the Indians, whom were here before everybody else. Whites feel like they belong here and that they are not immigrants, like others. Thus they are. The only Native Americans are the Indians.
Also, in my opinion the video was interesting, but however in real life immigrants are not to be accepted by those how call themselves citizen, Native Americans..etc. And as it may see the dislike of immigrants would not end now.

this cartoon is very funny but yet very true. this cartoon is proving a very important point which is that without immigrants we would not be the country that we are and will become. for example there are many people who want to come live to new york. why? becasue new york is famous because of the different types of people who live here. all the different thing you could learn about other religions and cultures. when you walking down the streets of new york city you never know who you going to meet or see and without immigrantion that wouldt be here today. or even when we think about it half of us wouldt be here today.

If the natives would have mistreated the original european immigrants in jamestown and plymouth i dont think it would have made a difference. They both would still be against each other.

What the cartoon is trying to say its that even the white people aren't native because they were originally immigrants as well. The only native people were the native indians and most of them are gone now.
